Normal Schools

This locally produced exhibit from Booth Library explores the development and history of teacher training schools, known as Normal Schools. Artifacts from the nineteenth and twentieth century that exemplify differing styles and systems of education and learning will be on display, along with historical photos and documents, focusing on Eastern Illinois University and its roots.
